Downing to increase popular flexi-office portfolio

Downing is set for further flexi office expansion to its portfolio at both Graeme House, Derby Square and No. 1 Old Hall Street. The expansion is due to significant demand for this type of commercial space across Liverpool’s business district.

Downing is now finalising designs to offer an additional 10 suites ranging from one person rooms of 140 sq. ft to 20 person offices of 1,100 sq. ft, which can be tailored to suit specific occupier requirements.

“The way companies do business is changing. They do not necessarily want to be tied down to one office, or even one city, for too long. This package offers the best of both worlds – a high quality, fully fitted office, at a great business address, without having to commit long term.

“Despite general uncertainty in the business community in the months following the Brexit vote, demand for Downing’s flexi-offices has flourished.  Our latest releases were oversubscribed, hence we are designing further supply.

“We’re dedicated to providing our clients with the office space that works for them, whether they’re a start-up or sole trader in our flexi-offices, or a larger established company with a longer term requirement.

“This part of our portfolio allows us to offer our customers the flexibility a modern business needs, whatever its size.”

All the suites are private but are delivered within clusters with a shared kitchen facility to reduce occupier space requirements. They each have high specification finishes and deliver budgetary certainty through a fixed all-inclusive monthly cost – which covers service charges, electricity, building insurance and rates, if required.

New tenants can also benefit from newly released secure car parking spaces beneath the buildings, with direct lift access to office floors. Offices come with a standard short form lease that makes a potentially expensive and lengthy legal process unnecessary.
