Document Controller/ Quality Assurance Administrator

  • Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

Key responsibilities:

Document Control

  • Provide administrative document control support including filing, uploading, downloading & printing documents
  • Supporting and assisting the construction team with projects and tasks and general administration duties as needed
  • Assisting with several projects using document control software such as Asta
  • Managing drawing files
  • Maintenance of drawing register, document issue and transmittal
  • Administration of document management system
  • Ensuring documentation procedures are adhered to and demonstrable for audit purposes
  • Maintenance of history sheets and revision registers

Quality Assurance Administration

  • Maintaining quality assessment (QA) review of electronic management of documents in our internal system
  • Updating Quality Assurance files
  • Loading product samples onto the company database
  • Maintaining and checking certification
  • Project management support
  • Maintaining and updating spreadsheet trackers and ad hoc reporting
  • Various other ad hoc administration tasks

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience of working in an administration role is preferable
  • Solid IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • The successful candidate will be focused and have the ability to communicate at all levels as well as be a team player
  • Knowledge of using document control software such as Asta (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work to deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and friendly approach
