Downing has been granted permission by Lewes District Council to construct a new student accommodation in Brighton.

The 555-bedroom state-of-the-art student scheme will be situated on the former Bennett’s field car park by the Amex Stadium, serving the University of Sussex and the University of Brighton.

The development will consist of two six-storey towers, connected by an interlocking two-storey link building, and will feature a central social hub. The accommodation includes 130 luxury, self-contained studio apartments, 397 student cluster rooms, 18 accessible studios, and 10 accessible cluster rooms.
