DOWNING SUPPORTS SME TENANTS DURING COVID:19
Downing is supporting its flexi-tenants during disruption caused by Covid:19 with a significant rent concession, plus, access to free online classes to bolster wellbeing for all their staff.
Downing’s No. 1 Old Hall Street building in Liverpool, is home to many businesses, a number of which are fast-growing SMEs – the lifeblood of the UK economy.
The company has offered qualifying resident companies a significant rent reduction for May and June, to help them ride out the financial challenges they face by operational changes due to the pandemic.
Downing is also offering access to unlimited free virtual yoga and Pilates classes for Old Hall Street resident companies seven days a week, helping to enable positive mental health and wellbeing across companies.
Meanwhile, the building remains open and ready for business, with normal services continuing as far as it reasonably possible, having regard to current Public Health England guidance and emerging industry wide safe working practices.
Downing has recently undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment of the building including a new feature main entrance portal, along with a re-configured and expanded building reception, which features a new waiting area and concierge lobby, new male, female and accessible WCs, a shower area and an accessible lift. Further proposals to replace the exterior façade and windows and the delivery of substantial CAT A office refurbishments, are continuing unabated by the effect of COVID-19.
